My Role Microsoft - MSN
As a designer, I found immense enjoyment in the dynamic and demanding nature of the position. Collaborating closely with our channel sales teams, accomplished content writers, video teams, program managers, and developers, I navigated a challenging and fast-paced environment. The core of our work involved responding to RFPs (request for proposals) from online advertisers. Collaborating with my team of content writers, content producers, and project managers, we brainstormed ideas to craft a compelling story pitch for the client's agency.
Depending on the scale and complexity of the project, my process typically involved initiating visual iterations while collaborating with the client's advertising or branding agency to establish the solution's branding and visual language. Simultaneously, I collaborated with custom content writers and channel teams to curate a blend of existing and specially crafted content. For more extensive solutions, partnerships with industry-specific writers, video production companies, and even celebrities were formed to enhance the content.
As the solution approached customer-agency approval, we involved the development teams to assess costs and determine the necessary development time. In certain instances, particularly for tech-heavy solutions, the development team was engaged much earlier in the process to ensure seamless integration.
